PostHeaderIcon Message from the Race Director

The RBC Sundridge Triathlon 2009 was a great success with over 180 participants. The feedback was positive and the committee looks forward to hosting the 2010 RBC Sundridge Triathlon on Sunday August 15, 2010 on the shores of beautiful Lake Bernard. A very special thank you to our many sponsors which helped make our inaugural triathlon a success. Please see our sponsor pages for 2009 sponsors and for information on sponsoring the 2010 Triathlon. There are improvements to be made of course but the routes will be basically the same. The heat of the day warmed up the shallow waters of the world’s largest fresh water lake without an island. The runners were cheered on by the citizens of Sunny Sundridge and Strong Township as they made their way along Main Street back to Sundridge Lions Park where the transition zone is located at the bottom of Paget Street. The Sprint Triathlon bike route was challenging as cyclists faced the many hills, valleys and sharp curves along the shoreline of the packed gravel of South Lake Bernard Road. It was a great day and we look forward to seeing you at the second annual RBC Sundridge Triathlon on Sunday August 15, 2010. Stay up to date with us and keep a close eye on our website as we complete our sanctioning forms from the Ontario Association of Triathletes. Registration will again be available online as well as mail in.
